Approximately 4-5 years ago I met Heather at a gallery called “Hard Tops”. It was the First Friday Art Trail. We were both showing our photography. I remember chatting with Heather for quite sometime. It was my first art gallery and I couldn’t have been more excited.
THEN, back in July or August (I can’t remember, I’ve slept since then) I received an email from her telling me she was getting married and needed a photographer.
Our initial meeting I just feel in love with them. Heather and Justin actually own a business called “Dirty Deeds Soup” you should definitely check them at at https://www.facebook.com/DirtyDeedsSoaps or their etsy shop at

(Their soaps are awesome by the way!) They were so sweet to give me a scrub bar the day I met with them so that I could try it! And I LOVE it!!
I feel in love with the way they looked at each other, Justin’s long beard, Heather’s twinkle in eyes when she looked at him. They have such a genuine love for each other and that I could tell from just the first meeting.
It couldn’t have been a better day for their wedding. I loved every detail from the rolled programs that were held by crates they made, to the fall colored leaves the flower girls threw down, and to the reception details.
BUT my VERY favorite part of the day was the “First site” It could not have been more perfect!! (You will see why!)
(Check her BEAUTIFUL bouquet and dress!)

Rolled programs in handmade crates!

Bride and Grooms cake.

Handmade boutonnieres.

First site…

Blending of 2 families.

After the ceremony we were all going to do some more fun photos. For some reason I look at this photo bellow and think they are dancing.

Love Heather’s facial expression!!!

Granny cut in on the first dance!!! It was too hilarious!

And the getaway!!!

Needless to say I had such a great time at this wedding. Thank you so much to Heather and Justin for letting capture such a perfect day!!! I wish you all the very very best!!!
